Job Summary:
Operate the Totani and/or Hudson Sharp Pouching Machine in the safest, most effective, and efficient manner while adhering to established quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate.
• Participate in developing, understanding, and following all SOP’s.
• Read, understand, interpret, and utilize all information retrieved from job jackets, manufacturing specifications, pouch specifications and print spec sheets.
• Perform and manage machine set-ups/changeovers by utilizing the information on the job jacket and the pouch specification.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the quality standards associated with running a pouch machine. Conduct, document, interpret and act upon all data obtained during QA tests.
• Understand the bar code system to properly scan all raw materials used in production to ensure accurate inventory control. Able to produce new tickets for all finished goods inventory and return to stock unused materials.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner which document production, waste, set up time and downtime and all Quality Assurance tests.
• Successfully set up machine to customer specifications.
• Successfully troubleshoot all mechanical problems and apply corrective action as needed.
• Safely operate all necessary roll handling equipment to load work in process rolls onto machine.
• Produce pouches within customer specifications while completing all necessary quality testing
Preferred Qualification:
• MUST HAVE: Totani and/or Hudson Sharp Pouch Operator- previous experience in Flexible Packaging.

Job Summary:
The ink technician position requires an eye for color and a self- motivated person in the making of lamination and surface printing solvent-based inks. An ink technician is an important pre-press position and is responsible for supplying, mixing, toning and color matching inks for all printing jobs. Documentation of ink formulas and recipes in the software system is required for each job. Prior to staging inks press side, color accurate drawdowns must be prepared and pass color standard. The ink technician will return and label ink buckets and kits when jobs are complete. Monitoring and maintaining ink inventories are expected as well as creating and receiving purchase orders to ink suppliers and entering them into the inventory system. The ink technician will follow work orders, instructions, procedures and company policy. Lifting of heavy objects and maintaining an orderly work area is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage all aspects of color in a fast-paced printing environment.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting printing presses, laminators, slitters, and peripheral equipment. The maintenance mechanic will be responsible for general plant and facility repair.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
MUST HAVE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE - Minimum two years of experience in repairing and maintaining flexographic printing presses, wide web slitting machines and/or laminators.
Requirements:
• Must adhere to all quality processes, including documentation and verification as they apply to the performance of your tasks.
• Able to lift between 50 lbs.
• Must be able to walk, squat, crouch, turn, twist, stretch, climb steps, grab, pull, push, and bend throughout an 8-to-12-hour shift.

Duties:
• Maintain and repair equipment using hand and power tools.

The SQF Food Safety and Quality Practitioner is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and updating the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing food safety and quality processes, and maintaining relevant documentation.

This role will require a strong background in industrial engineering, system engineering or similar, with an emphasis on PM scheduling, inventory management, troubleshooting and equipment assessment. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, particularly with a focus on automation machinery.

The primary focus of the position will be to lead and supervise the lamination and pouch operation towards advanced standards of safety, quality, production, efficiency, and optimal individual contribution. Process analysis and improvement will be a major responsibility. This will include the evaluation of current processes and procedures. This position is responsible for recommending, implementing, monitoring, and measuring the effectiveness of policies and procedures. Training, policy enforcement, R&D, supplier management, employee management, waste reduction, efficiency production are key areas that require improvement and would fall under the responsibility of this position.

10+ years in flexographic industry. Preferably at least 3+ years in a supervisory role. Must have wide web flexographic experience using solvent and solvent less adhesives in the lamination process, laminating on various substrates including BOPP, PET, PE, Paper, coated films etc. Familiar with slitting policy and procedures and machinery. Familiar with Totani pouch machine.
