Job Summary:
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machinery used to repair/reproduce/modify components related to flexographic printing machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, creative problem-solving design skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
On a typical day, you will work on repairing or replicating a variety of components designed by OEM of flexographic printing presses, slitters, laminators and pouch making machine, mounters and a host of other associated machines crucial to a flexographic printing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinder to produce high-precision components for flexographic printing presses and associated machinery.
- Must be proficient in imperial/metric units, drilling, tapping and component repair or replication.
- Finish and repairing a variety of shafts (rubber coated, profiled, aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel)
- Maintain, troubleshoot tooling/fixtures to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Job Summary:

Job Summary:
Press operators are required to operate a ten color press and manage press assistants during the process. Responsible for reading the job order and setup for individual jobs for quality requirements and to meet customer specifications. Manage solvent based inks by proper viscosity. Manipulate the press to engage anilox; adjust position of sleeves to achieve the proper press settings. Insertion of shaft through cores and secure roll on press to the feed position. Start up of press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment registration of printing plates as necessary to ensure a high quality product. Cut samples of printed material and inspect for imperfection to the products quality standards. Troubleshoot any necessary imperfection to the product standards at that time. Such techniques could involve using new inks, cleaning and changing anilox units or making press adjustments. Responsible to teach, lead, motivate and assign tasks to press team of assistants so they may maintain the plants overall goals in productivity, quality, safety, low waste, and teamwork.

Job Summary:
The slitter operator must set up and operate the slitting machine to produce finished rolls of films (printed/laminated, printed only, unprinted laminated, plain unsupported) meeting customer specifications. Operator is responsible for weighing, wrapping and stacking the finished rolls on pallets, as well as, cleaning the slitter and peripheral equipment.

Job Summary:
This position is directly in charge of preparing and operating two types of laminators, as well as, cleaning the laminators and peripheral equipment. The lamination process consists of combining two or more film substrates by means of water based or solventless adhesive. Lamination is essential in flexible packaging as provides enhanced protection to the product as well as extends the product shelf life. The laminator operator is required to operate manual controls or levers on the machine, handle film materials and lift heavy objects, dismantle and re-assemble parts for cleaning and repair. In addition, the operator is expected maintain the efficiency, quality and waste standards as well as followed detailed work orders and instructions with accuracy.

Job Summary:
The primary focus of the position will be to lead and supervise the lamination and pouch operation towards advanced standards of safety, quality, production, efficiency, and optimal individual contribution. Process analysis and improvement will be a major responsibility. This will include the evaluation of current processes and procedures. The shift supervisor must manage the manufacturing employees on the assigned shift to ensure employee and product safety, achievement of product and operations quality standards, and adherence to policies and procedures. Under the guidance of the Printing Department Manager, this position is responsible for training, motivating, developing, evaluating, disciplining and achieving optimal individual contribution of the staff.

The mounter position prepares photopolymer plates through the application of various sticky back tapes and primers to different size sleeves and cylinders for the purpose of mounting (applying) said plates as individual colors per sleeve/cylinder for different jobs.

Job Summary:
The ink technician position requires an eye for color and a self- motivated person in the making of lamination and surface printing solvent based inks. An ink technician an important pre-press position and is responsible for the supplying, mixing, toning and color matching solvent based inks for all printing jobs. Documentation of ink formulas and recipes in the software system is required for each job. Prior to staging inks press side, color accurate drawdowns must be prepared and pass color standard. The ink technician will return and label ink buckets and kits when jobs are complete. Monitoring and maintaining ink inventories is expected. Creating and receiving purchase orders to ink suppliers and entering them into the inventory system. The ink technician will follow work orders, instructions, procedures and company policy. Lifting of heavy objects and maintaining an orderly work area is required.

Job Summary:
The material handler is responsible for the receiving of incoming products and shipping outgoing products. In addition, this position is responsible for keeping the film raw material inventory in orderly condition, staging film for production and returning unused film into the warehouse. This is a detailed oriented position and requires reading and understanding of orders, packing list, shipping reports, quality checklist and BOL’s. Accurate labeling of incoming materials, returned materials from production and labeling of outgoing shipments is an essential responsibility for this job. This position will prepare pallets for daily shipments and maintain an orderly warehouse.

Job Summary:
You will be leading a Team of five to seven machine maintenance and repair professionals. This includes both managerial and hands-on responsibilities.
A summary of these responsibilities include: assuring that all the machines are maintained and in outstanding working order; assessing project requirements, measuring performance of mechanical components, devices and systems.

Customer Support Representatives act as the intermediary between our customers and our production team. Our office is connected to an 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility that runs 24/7. Most correspondence with our customers is completed through phone calls and e-mail. Interaction with our production team occurs through face-to-face conversation, phone, email, or two-way radio.
Responsibilities and duties will include providing office support for sales staff and house accounts by inputting and preparing quotes, productions work orders and purchase orders. Provide timely feedback to the status of open orders. Will assist and manage new customer projects and able to meet deadlines.

The Graphics & Art Specialist handles all art that comes in from customers and Poly Print salespeople. They also work closely with outside vendors to ensure the artwork is to customer specifications. The art department is involved in every new job or change to an existing job. This person manages and maintains the entire art workflow process through the artwork portal. You are responsible for writing and receiving artwork purchase orders the graphics vendors and meeting deadlines. In addition, this position is responsible for providing timely artwork quotes for sales representatives, CSRs, and customers directly.
